Nexus 5010 vPC load-balance question

please see attachment for reference. my question is regarding vPC port-channel.

Can Server1 or Server2 use both uplinks simultaneously to archive theoretical speed of aggregated 20Gb/sec? I thought this would be the case. But I have heard of this topology is it limited to 1 active link which only 10Gb.

Hi,

Both links should be active and the traffic will be load balanced accordingly. The concept of VPC is , from the servers point of view both nexus is 1 switch and the port channel is formed based on that concept. You will get a bandwidth of 20GB.

This will work like a charm
