Change phone template with Extension Mobility

On a UC540, I'm trying to change the available softkeys when a user logs in - is this possible ?

This is running uc500-advipservicesk9-mz.150-1.XA1a

It seems I can only bind an ephone-template to the underlying handset so the softkeys are available when noone is logged in.

I am pretty sure is no way to change the softkey distribution for EM users.
