I just tried this out on the 50x and it works correctly.

I go to the web UI and log in as User, not Admin and the "rw", "ro" and "na" function correctly for that parameter.

Sorry I am confused

Are you saying   works on the 502/4 despite

1) The name on the tag

2) It is not present in the XML generated by spa5x5g-sip-7-4-4-spc-win32-i386.exe

Sorry I forgot to say

I am not trying to disable changing paramaters via the web

I am trying to prevent Signaling Protocol and Auto Detect
SCCP Settings  being changed from the LCD

I have the same results on the 525 and 50x.

On the 525, the xml sent to it was

1234
SIP
  No

On the 50x, the xml sent to it was

1234
SIP
  No

On both models, when logged in as User in the web UI, you see the SPCP Auto Detect as read only mode.

On both models, using the Phone LCD screen, I was able to access and change the SPCP mode.

HI,

that is all very interesting...but back to my original question -

What is equivanent of for 504/2?

Yeson the 525  disables the ability for the user to change 1) Signaling protocol and 2) SPCP on the LCD Screen

Our users dont have the admin passowrd, so they need to be protected from changes on the LCD, which is why I guess it was implemented on the 525

I understand what you are looking for now....

The 50x doesn't have this parameter.

I've put in a request for this parameter.

The CDET number is CSCtg63858.

Thanks.

Dev replies that the parameter only affects 'signaling protocol' and 'spcp auto detect'.   You just need to set these two parameters to read only from the LCD display?

Hi,

Correct we need to make these Readonly on  LCD  for users of the phone

via xml just like does

Stuart

Ok, this will be implemented in a future release.  Thank you.
