Do we obtain Software license for 4500 Metro switches

I am also new to this and will need your help on this.

I have Identify the following for my 4500

WHich IOS will cover licensing for all below and do I only need SMART NET to cover all.

a)       Metro Advanced IP feature license (MPLS, EoMPLS, and MPLS VPN; IP Services license).

b)       Metro IP Services feature license (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, PBR, multi-VRF CE, HSRP, PIM, and
         DVMRP tunneling; also includes IP Base license.)

c)       Metro IP Services to Advanced IP upgrade license

Hi Pius,

There is price difference depending on the feature set you need.  You also need a SMART NET contract to be able to download, maintain and upgrade your IOS.  Talk to you sales rep.

I have just discovered that I don't think 4500 series support MPLS

Correct me if I am wrong.
