Hi ,

I have a Unity Server 4.x  with many subscribers (users) created on it.I have a requirement like i will create new users (Subscribers) with phone password policy as 6 digits.I wants acheive this only on few users and rest will be as min 4 digit phone password.

Is i have to create new subscriber template and and add those users under this new template having 6 digit phone password.

But i have seen if i change the password policy to 6 digit under Account policy it will apply to all subscribers in Unity. Can i achieve this please let me know.

Thanks & Regds,

Lalit

Hi Lalit,

The "password length" policy is a system-wide setting, so you are stuck

with one or the other (not both 4 digits for some users and 6 digits for others)

Phone Password Restriction Settings

Phone password restriction settings allow you to define a systemwide password policy that applies when subscribers access Cisco Unity by phone.

Phone password restrictions cannot be changed for individual subscriber accounts.

Rob is dead on here.  Unity settings are system-wide.  Unity Connection provides the ability to have multiple authentication rules applied at the Subscriber Template or per Subscriber...but Unity does not.
