Caller ID with Call Manager 7 and MGCP controlled GW with FXO port

I saw many topics discussing problem of Caller ID on FXO port with MGCP cotrolled gateway.

It was NOT supported by call manager 6

Is it supported on Call Manager 7 ? ( i recently upgraded to CCM 7 )

Or Caller ID sitll is not important feauture for cisco ?

I have 20 remote officess with 2911 gw controlled by MGCP and i would liek to avoid if possible switching them to H323

Caller ID on MGCP gateways with FXO ports was added to the 8.0 release. See the link for the new features added in version 8.0. I do not have the version notes here but you will also need to make sure the IOS on your routers can handle the new feature.

Hope this document clarifies the situation, essentially CLID is supported for MGCP FXO in 12.4(20)T or later and CUCM 8.0:-
