Can you set "Client Profile Agent" trace to debug level? Recreate problem and get the "Client Profile Agent" logs from CUPS.

1) How many CUPS server in the cluster?
2) How many CUPS server used to be in the cluster?
3) Is "CUP-AMS-011" resolved to 144.254.210.27 from the CUPC computer?

Has this user ever been able to log in before? With that version of CUPS we ran into a database synchronization problem caused by a bug; if any user had the same number set as their primary extension and ther IPCC extension, the username and info would synch, but the password would not. And it manifested just like the symptom you describe; User account is there and looks fine, password works in CCMUser, but doesn't on CUPC.
