Hello,
we need to know if the "floating licenses" of the UC 500 series are full, additional licenses or if there are any restrictions to them.
For example, the UC520-8U-2BRI-K9 supports 8 users + 2 floating licenses (or teleworker licenses).
Can there be 10 users at the same time with the full feature set like voicemail etc., without any restrictions?
Thanks in advance,
Ben

Hi Ben,
Yes, the "floater" or supplemental licenses are fully functional
and can be used like any other

Hi Rob,
thanks! Do you also know where I can find this (or similar detailed) information about the series? Just if we need to know similar things in the future. We have searched but couldn't find anything more than general Q&A pages, or the data sheet which also does not cover this in detail.
Or is there just no official information because Cisco doesn't want to advertise it too much?
Thanks,
Ben

To add on to Mr. Huffman here (Rob, you are the man with the links for sure. +5 to you), I actually found a site that caters to UC500 deployments and to CME (as it applies to UC500). The site is uc500.com. It is a decent forum. Not as robust as netpro, but comes in handy every once in a while.
HTH.

Bill

Hey Bill,
Thanks buddy!
If you'd ever seen my typing skills (or complete lack thereof) you would surely
understand my aversion to long threads and love for links ;-)
+5 for the uc500 site. I forgot all about that one
Cheers!

PS: I did earn my TFAT (two fingers and a thumb) typing cert back in the days!
