WCS move to a different server.

I'm running WCS Linux. 2600 APs and about 10 WiSM blades. I need to move the application to a bigger server (the server is running slow). I'm planning on keeping the server name/ip address to avoid licensing issues. Can anyone guide me through the steps to do this??? I have been unable to find the information in the online documents.

Thanks for any info.

Run a WCS backup on existing server.

Get the .nmsbackup file

Install new WCS on new server.

Restore the backup and use this .nmsbackup file.

Keeping the same IP does not matter, but you need to keep the same hostname.

I do cover in my presentation the Licensing aspect, for your reference:
