easy question regarding copy and pasting ASA config

Hey there!

If i was to give someone a config to paste into an ASA, i need to know where its going to error out. For instance, where do i put my end statements and config t statements...

i dont want anything to error on the pasting of this config.... Help?

Copy and paste about 20 lines at a time otherwise it can miss some of the input. Start in config mode and it should be fine.

Just to add what Jon said, make sure that the ASAs are identical because of interface differences. You wouldn't be able to paste a config for a 5550 to a 5505 without it erroring out because of the amount and types of interfaces.
