Hello,
I have AP with IOS. Do you know how to get the list of SSIDes that AP is receiving (listening)?
I need the same feature as SSID list which you can see when you are connecting on windows.
In better case a list with signal strength. Maybe there is there some monitoring mode....? I tried
show controller dot 0 etc, but without success. It looks that Cisco AP doesn't support this feature.
Kind regards,
Jan

Is this what you are looking for: "sh dot11 bssid"
Don't forget to rate useful ports. Thanks.

Hello,
it is not what I need. This displays only my SSIDes, but I need to get
list of all SSIDes that my AP is seeing/listening. I need to get a rogue ssid
list. In our area, there are many AP (my neighbors). I need to see,
which APes (in my neighborhood) are announcing SSIDed and their signal strength.
The same job do a software tool 'netstumbler'...
Kind regards,

Hello,
when I tried the command above, I get an empty list... See the result.
BaseAP#sh iapp rogue-ap-list
IAPP Rogue AP List:
The Rogue AP list is empty
Any other tips?
Kind regards,

You'll get better result if you use a WLC. Without a WLC, how are you going to "triangulate" the rogue AP/Client? DO you want to contain them? Without a WLC, how do you expect to achieve this?
