MGCP gateway with DSCP farm profile issue

HI,

There is MGCP gateway which is binded with loopback0 in my gateway and there is a dsp farm profile assosiated to loopback0

On CCM mgcp gateway registered with Loopback ip

but suddently client complained that nothing working on verification we found that the dsp profile is shutdown and gateway is registered to the CCM with Fa interface IP

when we enable the profile everything came back and gateway re register with CCM with loopback ip

What will be the cause for dsp farm shutdown

Well, one thing would be if you didn't save the configuration and the router reloaded for some reason. While I have seen MGCP commands go "bye bye" without human intervention, I have not seen that with a DSP profile config.

Check uptime of the device: "show version"

Check the start up config to see when it was last saved: "show start"

If using tacacs or radius, check your accounting logs to see if there are clues there.

If you need a time stamp, check your application syslog on CUCM and/or RTMT Alert Central to see when the D-channel and B-channels went off line.
