Hello
I got an 2801 with a PVDM2-32 on slot 0 that its gave me this error %PVDM2-1-SIMM_UNKNOWN: PVDM2 in slot 0: PVDM SIMM in subslot/pvdm slot 0
what its the right IOS to support this PVDM2-32 Module ?
Its suppoorted by Cisco Router 2801 the pvdm2-32 module?
Any ideas ?

PVDM can be faulty, have it replaced.

Hi Norman,
PVDM2 modules are supported on ISR routers such as 2801s. IOS is not an issue here. Did you try installing the PVDM on another PVDM slot on the router? If it still fails to get recognized (check show diag or show inventory to verify), then its a bad PVDM and needs to be replaced. If it gets recognized in another slot, then its a bad slot. HTH.

I Change to slot 1 and give the same error when i do sh diag

I would recommend having the PVDM replaced as it appears to be faulty. This is the last resort since reseating didnt help.
