Hello,
I am trying configure to Cisco 880 3G Router (PCEX-3G-HSPA=F1_2_3_22AP C:/WS/F) ***Cisco IOS Software, C880 Software (C880DATA-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 12.4(22)YB5, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)*** but i have a problem about the configuration. 3G interface status is up and it is also registered with our SP (Turkcell - Turkiye) without any username&password, when i talked the SP they said that "you dont have to use username&password" so everything seems to be ok (i mean interface status, cell id, sp name, etc.) but profile status "INACTIVE" (as you can see the following output)
Note that; I am also change the APN name, i tried all the possibilities (our SP using different APN name for example "mgb","mgbs", "internet") and another important point is when i tried connect to internet with USB 3G device (with my computer) its wotking (i mean SIM card is working.)
Can anyone help me about this problem.

Hi,
Please check out without service provider what APN they are using.
whether profile and chat script is created in router ?
Profile should be in below format
Router# cellular
<profile number> <apn>
Chat script should be in below format
chat-script <script name> "" "ATDT*98*<profile number>#" TIMEOUT <timeout value> CONNECT
Note : Even my service provider dont have username and password in that case we are using Mobile number or phone number as username and password.

Hi,
I have already configured chat script
chat-script TURKCELL "" "ATDT*99*1#" TIMEOUT 30 CONNECT (in our region 99) and also correct APN name is "mgb"... but it isnt working.
I also checked debug output but i could not find any significant information. Could you share the config example that you configured before?

Hi ,
Please try by removing the GPRS card and reinsert it. after doing this you need to create the profile again.
Note : For most of cases it had worked in my setup...
