that would shut down the 5ghz radio correct?  I dont want to do that, cause then my N clients wont be able to connect at the 300mbps speed, they would only connect to the 2.4ghz radio.

Hi ,

we can conect to N-speeds by using 2.4Ghz.. on the WEB GUI we can see 2.4 with N and 5 with N. that is N speeds comes with both 2.4 and 5 Ghz..

We can achive the N speeds with 2.4Ghz, we need to configure Open auth, WPA-psk as the authentication and Ciphers -AES as the encryption and 40 Mhz channel should be enabled and all the Higher channel M... should be enabled.

yes you can achieve N speeds on the 2.4ghz radio, if you set it to 40mhz however that isn't recommended or supported from Cisco as there isn't as much channel bandwidth available on the 2.4ghz range.  Which is why they recommend only using 40mhz on the 5ghz radio.  However i want to lock it down to only allowing N clients, do you know of a way to do this?

Am Sorry.. TO achive the N -speeds this is wat we do and these are the basic requirements to be satisfied for 2.4 Ghz.. no other way as per my knowledge and this has worked in many scenarious when we TAC troubleshoot the issue.
