I have this problem connecting to our VPN via 2 different ISPs, using the first provider when connected to our VPN i can ping our internal networks but when i connect to our VPN via this another ISP though i am connected but I can't ping our internal networks. As what i know and understand, regardless of what ISP i used as long as I can connect to our VPN i should be able to ping connect to our internal networks right?

Need your thoughts on this, appreciate your replies..

Hi,

Do you mean you have two different ISPs on the VPN headend side or on the client side?

You're correct, regardless the Internet connection, the VPN should work fine.

The problem could be that one connection is using PAT and needs NAT-T and the other not.

Or there could be a filter for ESP on one ISP.

Please provide more details of your situation.

Federico,

Thank you for replying. I think your right.. the other provider might have been filtered my traffic. by the way what does ESP stands for?

ESP I think stands for Encapsulation Security Protocol.

Is the protocol used by IPsec to transport the data through the tunnel.
