I see what you're saying.  Basically, that document says you may use click-to-call and webex meeting with Microsoft SharePoint.  But there's no way to integrate Cisco Presence with MS SharePoint.

With Cisco introducing Quad (directly competes with MS SharePoint), I'm not sure if they will build the integration.

You might want to talk to a Cisco account manager.  He'll refer you to a system engineer or consultant engineer regarding the integration.

I am not a SharePoint expert.  But I don't think you can integrate CUPS 7.0.8 with SharePoint (I guess you mean "Phone Presence", assuming that SharePoint customer usually use MOC).

Cisco has a competitive product called "Quad" (SharePoint-like), which can integrate with many Unified Communication products such as CUCM, Unity, Presence, etc.

I'm not very familiar either with share point

we have a customer where its core is share point and they want UC and we are recommending presence as the CIPT bundle

I found this doc on the cisco site

It mentiods the capability but no other real details

who do we need to talk to give us more details

thank you

thank you I'm going to open a PDI ticket, i wanted to know your opinion on this first

have a great day

Hi Cristobal,

I have the same situation here (though we're using CUPS 8). I think the CUPS developers did

a great job integrating CUPS 8 into Outlook (see printscreen). I'd be basically interested in similar

features (click to call, presence bubbles, IM shortcuts) for sharepoint.

Did you get an answer from PDI helpdesk? Would be great if you could share it. Thanks a lot.

Just read through the document you provided earlier and it seems that it answers most of my questions:

"In addition to the federation capability, Cisco Unified Personal Communicator also provides Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Internet Explorer integrations, allowing Cisco Unified Personal Communicator users to easily launch real-time communications such as point-to-point and group chats, audio and video calls or conferences, and web conferences from within the Microsoft application user interfaces.

[...]

You now can see the availability and presence state for your Cisco Unified Personal Communicator contacts in your Outlook and SharePoint 2007 applications, eliminating the need to switch between applications to view this information.
[...]

In addition to presence integration, with Cisco Unified Personal Communicator you can launch real-time communications from within your Microsoft Office 2007 applications (including Outlook, Word, and Excel), SharePoint 2007, and Internet Explorer."

Maybe you have additional info?
