Hi,

Im trying to prioritize traffic matched in a class on 6500 msfc2/sup2 12.1E.  the config is as below :

policy-map VOICE_TEST
class VOIP
priority 512
class class-default
fair-queue

class VOIP

match access-group VOICE_CLASSIFY

ip access-list extended VOICE_CLASSIFY permit udp x.x.x.x x.x.x.x y.y.y.y. z.z.z.z 1025 65535

and this policy map is applied to routed interface in output direction.

int faxx/yy

ip address a.a.a.a b.b.b.b

service-policy output VOICE_TEST

when i issue the command " sh policy-map interface fa xx/yy i dont see any hits on the counters of policy map. while on the other side it is connected to router where it shows it is prioritizing the traffic.

Can you ppl see some issues in configuration for Qos. ?

TIA

Hitesh

This does not mean the marking is not happening, This is probably because the processing happening at PFC. You may sniff the packets and confirm.
