SRW2008P not putting out any power?

Have a new SRW2008P. I can connect to the web interface just fine, and it switches packets without any problems. Web interface says POE is enabled on all 8 ports, but "Mode" is "off" for all eight ports. If I plug in a Polycom IP501 phone I get nada. A voltmeter across pins 4 and 8 is zero volts. Is the POE circuitry in this switch fried? Or am I missing a setting to turn it on?

Your post is quite old but the answer which you may likely already know is the

SRW2008P puts out voltage across the data pairs DC+ PINS 1,2 DC- PINS 3,6 using the 802.3af alternative A
