BLF with PickUp- Changed in 7.1.3?

I had the following set up

Phone A 1234

Phone B 2222

Phone A wish to BLF phone B and be able to pickup Phone B when some cone alls 2222. When I tested it on 7.0 I only had to set the Subscribe CSS on Phone A to include  the Internal Partition and add DN 2222 as a BLF with the Call Pick up ticked- - All worked However we have re-tested with 7.1.3 and the feature seems to have changed. You now need to create two Pickup Groups A&B and assign DN 2222 to one and associate PUG A to PUG B- very messy.  Am I reading the 7.1.3 notes incorrect? Does anyone use BLF with Pickup in 7.1.x

thanks

Hi IPT,

Here is a relevant clip

**Note You do not always need to create another call pickup group. A pickup group can have itself as its association group.

Hi IPT,

It's been the same since BLF Pickup was introduced in CUCM 6.1(2)
