SMNP trap remove for 2 modules

I have removed 2 modules from my 6509 switch, 1 and 2.  How do I disable the ttraps for just those 2

mods without disabling it for all modules?

Are you trying to disable envmon or fru type traps or all traps related to these modules?

SNMP traps are usually global commands, which means they impact all modules/interfaces on a device. If the module isn't there, then traps won't be generated for it.

I think I got it.  The switch generated a trap

when the 2 mods were removed.  My net mon software (Spectrum) pick

ed it up after I removed from maintenance.  Must have been buffered in there.  You are quite correct.  It was only a global command.

Thanks!!
