Hi all,
This happened after our server upgrade. I saw the archive job failure after the server upgrade (windows server 2003 standard). So I wanted to check the settings for the arhive job. Clicked RME -> Administration -> Config Management -> Collection Settings. When I clicked Collection Settings, my Internet Expolorer just suddenly closed. I tried many times, it stayed same. I'm not sure what part of upgrade caused this problem. But is there any log I can check for this issue?
Thanks a lot!
Lou

This looks suspiciously similar to: CSCte49301. Make sure you have any anti-virus on-access scanning disabled on CSCOpx and all its subfolders. Try this:
1. Shutdown daemons:
net stop crmdmgtd
2. Backup of the following files by renaming them and moving them to another location outside of CSCOpx:
CSCOpx/MDC/tomcat/webapps/rme/WEB-INF/lib/ctmregistry and
CSCOpxMDC/tomcat/webapps/rme/WEB-INF/lib/ctmregistry.backup
3. Issue this command from DOS:
netstat -anob > c:\netstat.txt
4. Restart daemons:
net start crmdmgtd
5. Wait until you get the output of a pdshow and check if CTMJrmServer is now started (pdshow CTMJrmServer). If not, provide the nestat.txt file from your C drive.

Have you tried just restarting the daemons? In Windows, go to Start and click on 'Run...'. Type in services.msc and make sure you have the following services set like this:
CiscoWorks ANI database engine: Manual
CiscoWorks Daemon Manager: Automatic
CiscoWorks RME NG database engine: Manual
CiscoWorks Tomcat Servlet Engine: Manual
CiscoWorks VisiBroker Smart Agent: Manual
CiscoWorks Web Server: Manual
CWCS Cmf database engine: Manual
CWCS rsh/rcp service: Automatic
CWCS syslog service: Automatic
CWCS tftp service: Automatic
DFM dfmEpm database engine: Manual
DFM dfmFh database engine: Manual
DFM dfmInv database engine: Manual
If any of these are different, change them and reboot the server. If still no go, post these details:
1. Full pdshow output (pdshow > c:\pdshow.txt).
2. Installation log of this upgrade (usually under C drive).
3. Current OS and LMS application versions.
4. Re-create the error and post the CSCOpx\MDC\tomcat\logs\stdout.log.

Thanks a lot Joel. I checked the services settings. All correct like your post. I restarted the server but the issue still exists. I tried to find the server upgrade log but I didn't find it under C drive. Here is other information you mentioned in the post:
