POST :

cisco WS-C6509-E (R7000) processor (revision 1.5) with 458720K/65536K bytes of memory.
Processor board ID SMG1403N01E
SR71000 CPU at 600Mhz, Implementation 0x504, Rev 1.2, 512KB L2 Cache
Last reset from s/w reset
1 Virtual Ethernet interface
188 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces
2 Ten Gigabit Ethernet interfaces

The sh tech or sh ip int brief do not show any TenGigabitEthernet interfaces.

Here are the modules:

Router#sh module

your 10g ports are on the supers,so they don't appear on the "show module".

these 2 10g ports are not "a module",while the supers are!

Hello Agil,

be aware that show ver in C6509 platform includes internal ports to switch backplane of linecards and service modules

>> 7    1  Application Control Engine Module      ACE10-6500-K9

  8    1  Application Control Engine Module      ACE10-6500-K9

each ACE module has a tengiga internal port to backplane for this reason two tengiga ports are listed

I noticed this in our switches

Hope to help

Giuseppe
