Hello,

I have added all the devices into CSM 3.2. However, I am not able to launch the device manager. Going thru User Guide for Auto Update Server 3.2.2, I found

http://cisco.biz/en/US/docs/security/security_management/cisco_security_manager/auto_update_server/3.2.2/user/guide/as_vsumm.html#wp1121059

Launching Device Manager

#

You can launch PDM or ASDM to view or modify a particular setting on a device.

This procedure describes how to launch a device manager.

#

Before You Begin

#

Make sure that the PIX security appliance and ASA devices have access to PDM or ASDM on the network.

#

Make sure that the device has contacted AUS previously.

How do I ensure the device has contacted AUS. I have not configured any AUS.

Thanks.

AUS is irrelevant to using ASDM launcher from CSM.

If you are trying to launch ASDM from CSM you need to go in CSM client, right click on the device and use the "Launch Device Manager" option.

The device needs to be open for HTTP, it needs to allow http from the CSM server ip address, CSM should have the right device credentials under Device Properties.

The computer that is running the CSM client need to have the ASDM launcher installed also.

I hope it helps.
