UC540 - SIP trunk - 7936 DTMF issue

I have a new installation of UC540 and a SIP trunk to Telco. Everything looks good exept for the 7936 phones

dont seem to send DTMF commands from the keypad. Other phones such as 7940 and 7941 work fine with DTMF.

Any ideas where to look ?

7936 DTMF codec issues ?

I have preference for g711alaw first and g711ulaw second.
