Call Manager 7.0 Licensing Problem...

Hi,

I have recently installed a Call Manager 7.0 for a customer. The implementation completed and everything works fine. From the ordered part numbers we haven't used 2 license files LIC-CM-DL-10.

The customer wants to use these license files to another site where he runs Call Manager 6.0.

Will these license files fit to the Call Manager 6.0 version?

Hi Nick,

You could probably contact;

licensing@cisco.com

to have these (DLU) licenses re-hosted to reflect the mac address

of the Publisher (first-node) server at the other 6.x site. Keep in mind

that 20 DLU's that these licenses cover will only get you 4-5 phones

installed (depending on model). So it may be a fair amount of pain for a small gain
