network-boot over different ip-segments with old hp-workstation

hi,

we have in our factory old hp-workstations, which boot from the network and catch their boot-image from an server. it works fine, when client and server are in the same ip-segment. when we set the client in a differnt ip-segment, nothing works. i analyse the boot-process with wireshark (find the file attached). the client send bootrequests over the rmp (hp remote maintenance protocol) to the server.

my question: is it possible to set a config like "ip-helper" on the interface, behind which the client is, so that all the boot-requests will be send to the correct server?

here is a short layerdescription of the boot-request (see details in the capture-file) --> in the capture-file you have to set this filter:

eth.addr == 08:00:09:F2:2a:61

Frame 321 (60 bytes on wire, 60 bytes captured)

IEEE 802.3 Ethernet

Logical-Link Control

HP Extended Local-Link Control

HP Remote Maintenance Protocol

thanks in advance for your help!

eth.addr == 08:00:09:F2:2a:61
