L2TPv3 pseudowire for T1 : BER test problems

Hi

Could you help me with next issue?

I have 2 routers 7206 VXR (NPE-G2) with PA-MC-8TE1+ cards (both)

a L2tpV3 pseudowire was configure between the routers using the T1's.

all my application works but when i try to check the T1 pseudowire link with a BER TEST, didnt pass!

Do you have information why I can't use a BER test over Pseudowire L2TPV3?

Hello Rolando,

L2TPv3 provides a point to point L2 transport for L2 frames.

BER may work at OSI layer1 so you cannot expect to perform a BER test over a link emulated by L2TPv3.

So what you see is not a real issue.
