UCCX maximum Agent Support on CUCM

Hi Guys,

Could someone please explain how does maximum agent and non-agent phone support works on CUCM cluster?

Say, if I have a CUCM cluster of 2*MCS7825's serving 300 sccp non-agent phones deployment, and then want to add 150 UCCX agent phones on the same cluster of 2*MCS7825 alongside new 1*MCS7845 to support 150 UCCX agents? Would it work or do I need add another CUCM node in the cluster to support 150 agent phone registrations due to their CTI or TAPI requirements?

Thanks Jai

Hello,

You can add the new 150 agents to you CUCM cluster without any issue,a as you know each MCS supports up to 7500 SCCP devices no matter if they are Agents or not, also you will require additional licenses for those 150 agents in case that you need the proper amount of phone units.
