Configuration to utilize full 300mbps speed for Aironet 1252

Unanswered Question

Hi Expert,

We have set up 4 1252 access points and it's up and running at 56mbps speed. We thought with this model the max throughput is 300mbps. How can we change the configuration to fully utilize 802.11N max speed? Even from some testing software are not show 802.11N connection. We're currently running WPA-TKIP with 4 ap running the same SSID for roaming. Please help! tks

To run N at full speed, you'll need to be using either an open or WPA2/AES WLAN, have WMM enabled and use channel bonding (which is really only feasible in the 5gHz range).

The document may be for the WLC but you'll get the idea of configuring an Autonomous AP.

Configure 802.11n on the WLC

I've already written to complain the lack of configuration guides for Autonomous AP about three months ago.  If you want, on the left-hand side of the document is a Feedback box.  I recommend that you put something down and Cisco will contact you within 45 minutes.
