Hi,
Ive created a link to an Avaya system and Cisco system by the use of a H323 gateway.
The IP address is showing as unknown as soon as i make a change and reset it. It usually takes overnight again to show the IP address instead of unkown. Why is this and is there a way of speeding it up?
Regards
Jon

Very unclear which address are talking about, so you must give full details abot what is connected what, and how.
Maybe you wanted to say gatekeep and not gateway ?

Keep in mind that with H.323 there is no active registration. H323 is a peer-to-peer protocol. I believe the IP address will display once a success call is sent out of the H323 gateway.
HTH.

Bill
