Question about DNS Name Map Pix 506E???

Hello Guys,

I am setting up the config for a send VPN and what to use an name map statement. The problem is I do not know what the 10.255.255.0 is doing and I do not want to bother the other VPN. My other VPN remote address network id 10 5.6.0. What will my name statement look like?

name 10.255.255.0 Roytech

Hi,

Your current name statement looks like:

name 10.255.255.0 Roytech

The new one can look as:

name 10.5.6.0 yourname

Just change ''yourname'' for the name that you want to give to 10.5.6.0

Then, you can reference to 10.5.6.0 as ''yourname'' in the configuration.
