Cisco 9900 series phones in SRST mode

Hello all,

We are on UCM release 7.1(3) and running SRST 7.1 IOS 12.4 (24)T) on our gateways, so technically we shouldn't have any issues installing the 9900 series IP phones.  However when we do a show call manager fallback on our gateways we don't see this version of IP phone listed as being supported??  Please let me know if anyone has any experience with using this model phone in SRST mode.  Just don't want and surprises in case we deploy this in one of our remote sites and there is an outage ).

Plesae let me know.

Thank you for your feedback.

Rgds,

Vicky

Hi,

The 89/990 phones are currently supported in SRST 7.1 and later.

"*** SRST  7.1 with 12.4(24)T and 15.0(1)M support these phones as regular Cisco SIP  phones."

Please refer to:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cusrst/requirements/guide/srs71spc.html

Also, they don't show up on a show call-manager-fallbak 'cause they are SIP phones that use
a different config/cli. Please refer to:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cusrst/admin/sipsrst/configuration/guide/spsrst2.html
