Hi,
The Ip Phones Polycom use the SIP for communication, you'll have to create a pool to sip ip phones, do not know if you have tried to do that, but Cisco does not guarantee the functioning of the features in devices from other manufacturers.
Below is an example
voice register global
mode cme
source-address 192.168.5.223 port 5060
max-dn 50
max-pool 36
timezone 13
time-format 24
hold-alert
tftp-path flash:
create profile sync 0380829064185296
!
voice register dn 1
number 11
call-forward b2bua noan 11111 timeout 10
name 11
no-reg
label Reception - 11
!
voice register pool 1
id mac 000B.8204.36AD
number 1 dn 1
voice-class codec 1

Configured ephone-dn and configured type as ANL
That means this is an analog Plolycom phone connected via FXS. That's 100% supported. That's:
CME---(sccp)--->fxs----(analog-signaling)--->phone
Your original post said you had a Polycom IP phone, which would imply the phone plugs directly into the network. For that to work with CME, as the original poster stated, you'd configure it via SIP to SIP CME and it would be best effort and not officially supported.
