Wireless LAN controller & certificates

Hi All,

I'd like to put a certificate on our WLC from our internal certificate server.

As I understand it, one must first create a CSR (certificate signing request) on the device and with that CSR, get a certificate built from the companiy's certificate authority, which will no doubt be able to present it in .pem or base 64 or whatever format.

I've found the following document : http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/4.0/configuration/guide/c40intf.html#wpmkr1117170 which goes into detail of how to install an external certificate but I can't find anywhere in it where to first generate the CSR that I can present to the CA that will in turn allow me to get the said 'external' certificate.

I assume someone has tried and succeeded in doing this?

The certificate is for authenticating when logging into the WLC for management; so I don't have to get that annoying certificate error.

Any help is very greatly appreciated.

PS.  The WLC is a 4405 and the summary is:
