Hello,

I found on the documentation of the WS-X6716-10G-3C that its only works with the 720 supervisor.

But I dont know why the customer told me that somebody at cisco guarantee him that with a ws-sup32-10ge-3b will work.

In my point of view there is no sense configure a 32GB supervisor with a 16 x 10GB card.

any idea?.

What exactly is the question ?

All the 67xx modules are fabric only modules ie. they can only connect to the switch fabric and not the shared bus. The sup32 does not provide a connection to the switch fabric so you cannot run 67xx with a sup32.

You can only run 67xx modules with a sup720 version.
