LWAP associating to controllers

Unanswered Question

Will a lwap automatically choose a primary, secondary and if available a tertiary controller on its own? The Cisco web site says it will but we have not seen this in our environment. The lwap associates with a controller then we manually tell it what order of controllers to connect to. We are running wism controllers in two 6509's, version software.

Firstly, no.  If you have multiple WLC then it's worthwhile to manually configure the primary/secondary/tertiary WLC.

Secondly, I'd never recommend anyone to use the 5.X code.

Hope this helps.
