ACE Module not booting up.

alexc2010

Level 1

Hi All,

My ACE module doesn not boot when i issue the reload command. Also no power enable module 7/power enable module 7 does not work.  The only solution is to physically remove and re-insert the module on the switch.

Please find the output of ACE module booting up below ,it looks like there is a memory error of some sort.  You will also notice that the ACE went into rommon, this was because I was performing a test to get the ACE to boot from an image on the Supervisor.

Hi Giles,

Thanks for answering this.

So should I proceed with hardware replacement?

Thanks

Alex

Alex, yes I would suggest to replace the card.

Gilles.
