Request your help in understanding the limitations of C500 Switch. Recently I had  a unsuccessful  support incident in a simple VLAN and TRUNKING environment. I wan unable to get the simple trunk work to carry a access VLAN.

Can any one decipher what do they mean by "

Virtual LANs (VLANs)

Up to 32 VLANs (1000 range) and support for 802.1Q trunking using Cisco Smartports

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

Up to 32 vlans can be cofnigured and for trunk configuration you can use cisco smart port to send the vlans to other switches for using 802.1q trunking.

Hope to Help !!
