Is it possible to compress the RTP, UDP and IP headers of a voice packet under a VPN IPSEC connection? These headers are encrypted when IPSEC is set to use ESP.
Best Regards.

I believe these two protocols are incompatible. cRTP compressess the IP/UDP/RTP headers. ipsec encrypts these headers. So, by the time the RTP compression process could be engaged it cannot accomplish it's job successfully.

I suspected that it would not be possible with ESP as the encryption process. I´ve confirmed now. Thanks for the help.
