Unified Mobility - Two remote destinations calling each other

Hi,

we have a customer running Unified Mobility on a CUCM 7.1.3 smoothly despite a little issue:

If one enabled remote destination dials the office number of another enabled remote destination the mobile will not ring.

It will not even initiate a call (Seen on the gateway).

Is this a bug or intended behaviour? Is there any service parameter we have to enable?

Thanks

Sebastian

I see.  So RD (RD-A) is calling another IP phone (B).  Did that IP phone (B) ring?

If the IP phone (B) rings but not the remote destination (RD-B), do the following test:

Call the IP phone (B) from another IP phone.  Did remote destination (RD-B) ring?

Check your RDP (Remote Destination Profile) of RD-A.  Make sure "Rerouting Calling Search Space" was able to reach the outgoing pattern/gateway of RD-B.

Did you mean one RD dialed into MVA and tried to dial out to another RD?  This should work.  If it doesn't work, we need CCM traces to troubleshoot.

Hello Michael,

no, MVA is not involved here.

One RD directly calls in via PSTN an IP Phone associated to a second RD.

The second RD will not ring.

For any other PSTN number it will work as intended.

I'm thinking of interactions to off-net off-net callin, CSS etc.

Thanks

Hi Michael,

the rerouting CSS did the trick.

Now it's working.

Thanks
