Untrust interface suddenly drops packet

Hi,

Im having a weird case with my fwsm. There were times when the untrust interface suddenly drops all trafic, but after a few minutes it comes back again. I've already check the the np blocks, and it does not increment, thus proving that there are no oversubscription.

Need your help here.

Neri,

If as you say this is not related to hardware drops.

Things to see:

- syslogs

- which counters in "show np all stats" is increasing (clear np all stats, followed by "show np all stat | e _0_" during issue.

- are CAM/ARP tables stable (both switch/7600 and the FWSM) - the only reason I could see why it would actually drop for a while.

Wha are you running on the chassis and FWSM?
