Line Description with CCM7

Hi,

How to display the Line description in a CCM7?

I want that it display the name of the user il the same line as the date.

In CCME, It is called Line Description.

I've configured it in the Line configuration but, It doesn-t show the Line.

Under the Directory Number Config Page > External Phone Number Mask

But This option cannot be used for displaying names.

I want that a Name will appear there, not the E164 number folowed by the extension.

Hi Iantra,

My apologies my friend

I didn't read your first post correctly, you are correct

that only Numbers can be displayed on the Top line of

the IP Phone display with CUCM. You can use the "Line Text"

config (under DN config page) to display the users name next

to their Directory Number but this will not be on the "Top" of

the phone display.
