Just a simple questions.

I want to deploy WLC5508 and am considering the best ANtenna for Indoor deployment.

Will AP3500 series do the job?

thanks

The AP3500's are pretty new and has more features than the other AP's.  Do you really need all the features is the question.  Here are some links you probably already seen.  There is also the 1260 that almost has all the bells an whistle as the 3500's except for the spectrum expert that can be enabled while associating clients.

The new 3500i/3500e and 1260 will be supported in the up-and-coming release of the 7.X firmware (sometime in June when the first shipment of the WAPs are due).

For indoor use, you don't need to use antennae on the 3500i because the antennae is built-in.  The 3500e and the 1260 have external antennae.

thanks,

I will settle for 1260...

Just take note from what Leo mentioned and the spec sheet... the 1260 uses external antennas, so for indoor use, you can use the AIR-ANT2451NV-R

One one of each of these:

AIR-ANT2430V-R

AIR-ANT5140V-R

Thanks for the ratings.

I also forgot to mention that, like the 1140, the 3500i/e and 1260 support PoE (15.4w).  If you don't have PoE switch then you must require PWR-INJ4.  Even though it's 15.4w requirement INJ3 is not supported.
