conversion Autonomous AP to LWAPP

hi there,

we are using Cisco 1140 Autonomous AP (AIR-AP1142N-E-K9 ) and now we wish to convert the Autonomous Access Point to light Weight Access Point(LWAP). Can we do this please let me know if there is any documentation related to this.

Hi Arjun,

Yes we can do this.

Download the LWAPP image(W8) from the cisco website and get the console access the AP and just issue the command..

archive download-sw/overwrite/force-reload tftfp:////

I assume we have the TFTPd32 downloaded from google and in the TFTPd32 pointing to the image.
