Hi experts.

I am currently running CME on 3745 dynamips version. I am not using any basic files for firmwares since i am using CIPC and IP blue. I have read that, CME provides license in packs like, 24 users, 36 users and so on. I havent uploaded any file and still i am able to run 3 phones. Can someone tell me why is this so ? How a license file is uploaded ? plus how to know how many users can my current deployment of CME supports ?

Hi John,

This licensing is "honor based" and is not loaded on the router itself

Base Cisco Unified CME feature license and phone user licenses that entitle you to use Cisco Unified CME are **purchased.

The 3745 is an "older" model so you won't find much info still floating around for it. The 3745 will support 120 IP Phones.
