vLan config on SLM2008

Hi

I have a network setup with a SA-520 firewall appliance, and a SLM2008 switch. I'm trying to confgure this with multiple vlans. On the SA-520 I've configured port 4 as a trunk with vlan's 1,2 and 4.

But I'm unable to get this to work with the SLM2008. I would like to configure port 1 on the SLM as trunk with vlan's 1,2 and 4. Port 4 and 5 should only have traffic from vlan 4 and port 6 and 7 should only have vlan 2. But I'm not able to get this to work.

Any one with any ideas?

/Andy

Hi Andy,

I would like to run a webex with you to check out that configuration.  It should be fun, vlans can be easy on the small business switches.

Please email me your contact details and include phone number and send them to dhornste@cisco.com.

regards Dave
