VG224 integration with CUCM 8

Hi All,

I am new to Cisco IPT.

I would like to integrate Vg224 with CUCM8. The VG224 will be used to connect FAX & Analog Phones.

Could you please let me know which protocol (H323/MGCP/SSCp) should I use to integrate with CUCM.

SCCP will provide the best line-side feature support.

Will FAX work fine with SCCP configuration mode ?

Yes if properly configured; Fax relay, either Cisco-proprietary or T.38 must be supported by both the VG224 IOS and PSTN gateway. It also must be configured appropriatly.

The Cisco IOS Fax, Modem, and Text Support over  IP Configuration Guide, Release 12.4T is a good place to start.
