I was wonder if somebody can help me to understand how to calculate the real throughput for ISR 28xx family.I have a LAN to internet link with a service provider Ethernet port 0/0 and I would like to connect a PBX to a ISR (28xx) in the other Ethernet port 0/1. The ISR will make NAT overload and classify packet using a MQC (Diffserv), router doesn´t tag just classify.
I found a paper from cisco with the pps suportted for ISR 28xx, with these values I can calculate the theoretical throughput for example ISR2801 = 90K pps = 46Mbps. However, when I took the RSSE course the trainer told me the ISR2801 only support 2Mbps WAN traffic, 2811 = 4Mbps WAN traffic.
My question is: If I configure the router with NAT and MQC (QoS Diffserv) what is the estimated throughput the ISR (2801, 2811, 2821, 2851) can support? I know it could be difficult to give a real number, I just like to have a practical guide or value according your deployments in field.
