Hi

CISCO 3650 G 24 ports switch

%CDP-4-DUPLEX_MISMATCH: duplex mismatch discovered on GigabitEthernet0/24 (not half duplex), with Switch GigabitEthernet0/1 (half duplex)

I am getting this

my all 24 ports are setup as duplex auto but still getting this

Please help to resolve

Someone has connected another switch to your 24 port switch. The two switches are not auto negotiating. If its an approved switch, it would be best to set the speed/duplex on both interfaces between the two switches.

Hola.

Cuando usas switches con puertas Giga, esta no negocian duplex: half.

Por eso cuando detectan en una de sus interfaces un equipo seteado en modo HALF DUPLEX envian un reporte de alarma.

En tu caso particular, te recomiendo tres cosas:

1.- Setea la interface Giga 0/24 en duplex full (forzado).

2.- Segun la alarma mostrada, el puerto del otro equipo es Giga. Verifica que esa interface este forzado en modo DUPLEX FULL.

3,. Verifica que el puerto Giga 0/24 de tu switch no este conectado a un HUB u otro switch (NO-CISCO) ya que de ser asi el mensaje de alarma estaria asociado a algun otro equipo conectado a ese HUB o switch (no-cisco).
